Next Saturday, April 1, 2023 will be held the II Environmental Day in Prádena de Atienza. It is a free activity that will begin at 11.00 am with a brief presentation on environmental issues and it is planned to plant a hundred oak trees next to the current oak grove “El monte” in the place called “Hoya los Vivares”.
The day has been organized by the Sierra de Oportunidades Association, constituted as described on its website as a means to channel all the energy and vitality of Sierra Norte’s people and lovers of the Sierra Norte. They work for the conservation of the natural, cultural, architectural and gastronomic heritage of the area and aim to promote the Sierra Norte as a place to visit, to be, to enjoy and to live.
